I call the feel of this tune 'Vaudeville Dub.' This song was written in a cabin in the woods of Vermont where I was staying alone. No electricity. I thought, 'great chance to get a break from New York City, should be very relaxing.' The Corsano's were nice to let me stay there.I was working on this tune, 'Foreverland,' on my 2nd night in the woods, and a bear tried to break into the cabin.
The bear visited three times, huffing and pawing away at the door. It was the opposite of relaxing. Ya might say it was an extremely uncomfortable night in a dark hollow in the woods. I'm still here, so he never made it in. But for the video, I had an entirely different idea than the bear experience. A man whose train never comes, and gets pulled into a what might possibly be an eternal circle.
