First Music Video Shot In Space

Of course it's a cover of "Space Oddity"

Space Oddity

If you're gonna cover "Space Oddity" in 2013 and impress me, you need to shoot the video in space. So, thank you, Commander Chris Hadfield of the Canadian Space Agency for being a) a pretty good singer, b) actually having edits and making something that feels in the same universe as 2001, and c) being in space.

Also awesome? Commander Hadfield totally won the great music video space race, beating Jay-Z and Beyonce who reportedly were planning to shoot a galactic video aboard Richard Branson's private shuttle. Sorry, Jay-Bey. You got served.

PS: If I find out this is green screen, I'm gonna be pissed.
