Twenty-five ago this video would have been awesome.
You've got a bulldog doing human things like a stockier Spuds McKenzie. You've got a rustier and junkier version of the ZZ Top Elminator car. You're on the Sunset Strip, the epicenter of all things sinful and rock 'n' roll. You've even got umlauts in the song title.
Alas, it is 2013 and everything celebrated here is dead. All of it. And the saddest thing is that Krokus doesn't even realize that they can now explicity show the caranlity they used to just comically tease (Long Stick Goes Boom, anyone?). And that's the biggest buzzkill of a time warp like this: Krokus can't even take advantage of all that the modern day has to offer, even if it's as tawdry and tired as showing boobs in a strip club.
That said, let's face it: It's all in good fun — except for the end scene where the dog craps on the Beach Boys Walk Of Fame star. That's just wrong.
