It's not an odds and sods collection — and certainly not 12 More Tracks — but a new album inspired by the past, including several previously recorded songs, some covers and other tracks that have been kicking around The Boss' vault and/or head for a while. Along for the ride is Tom Morello — who joined The E Street Band for an Australian leg and has been showing up at shows to deliver a Rage-inspired "Ghost Of Tom Joad" — who punctuates this updated cover of the Tim Scott Williams song High Hopes. Other tracks on the album include studio versions of live staples "Tom Joad" and "American Skin (41 Shots)," plus lots of other tracks that never made official albums.
The video itself also has a spare parts vibe, using Danny Clinch photos and Chris Hilson tour footage within the context of a lyric video montage...
