Chris Cunningham may be one of the most acclaimed video directors — Bjork "All Is Full Of Love" and Aphex Twin "Come To Daddy" to name just two of his masterpieces — yet is also one of the most enigmatic, having directed merely a handful of videos over the past decades.
"Love Is To Die" isn't a music video — it's a teaser to a full-length documentary chronicling the band Warpaint over the past two years as they made their new, self-titled album. And as you could expect from anything by Cunningham, it won't be a traditional documentary, but something more dreamlike, deeper and collaborative.

Visionary director Chris Cunningham spent 2 years with Warpaint, filming and photographing as they made new music. In addition to capturing imagery he also reimagined the songs themselves, creating beautiful and exciting alternate versions to soundtrack the visuals. The resulting documentary is something that only could have come from this unique meld of talents.
