"Balance" was one of four music videos we shot over the course of two days for the SXSW2014 bound band, Opus Orange. The original intent was to shoot only one video, but we fell in love with the space so much that we maximized our time there.
During our pre-light for "Balance," we turned around and loved the back light coming through the boarded up slats. Quickly, we grabbed the camera and coordinated playback for another single on the album, "Artifificial Heart." This is what came out: https://vimeo.com/86449231
After shooting "Artificial Heart" and "Balance," most of the crew began relocating for "Fotress," but Ric Serena stepped aside from directing and jumped behind the camera for director, Levi Rugg, to shoot a single continuous shot concept for the song, "The Next World." (https://vimeo.com/88406594)
And finally, the team wrapped the weekend by shooting "Fortress." Once the performance was shot and cut, it was projected against a textured surface and re-shot. https://vimeo.com/86446481
