Production notes on Interpol "My Desire" (Markus Lundqvist, dir.)

Interpol has launched a new video for My Desire from London-based director Markus Lundqvist. Shot in New York, the promo combines neo-noir visuals and creative post elements in this beautiful nightmarish video. It features Frank Grillo from the movie Warrior.

Production company Knucklehead has signed Markus Lundqvist for music video, commercials and content. With a background in post and an award-winning stint as a Flame Op with The Mill NY, Markus is making his mark as a director following a bold transition.  Executive producer Mary Calderwood says, “My Desire demonstrates Markus’ stylistic flair and marks him out as a visually distinctive storyteller. We are very excited about his potential for future films with Knucklehead.”
