WE must open a dialogue surrounding the abuse of power against american citizens by its police force, most importantly black males under the age of 35. Coupled with the proliferation of drug and crime culture in the music that is being driven by the lowest common denominator, the machine. In One Year, 57,375 Years of Life Were Lost to Police Violence -Black males accounted for 22 percent of all people shot and killed in 2017, yet they are 6 percent of the total population. More than half of police killings not are officially documented on U.S. death certificates. In most cases, it appeared that police-related deaths were not counted because the coroner or medical examiner failed to mention police involvement on the death certificate. On top of these statistics is the fact that last year, 91 people a day died of opioid overdoses.
