WATCH IT: Matt & Kim "Cameras" (Jonathan Del Gatto, dir.)

Does band strife lead to great music, or just knock-down brawls? A Matt & Kim rehearsal devolves into a bloody action-flick fight scene where they kick each others ass until they're able to join together and turn that aggession outward. Best bits: A drum kick pedal to the boys, and some grunt-heavy sound design. Also, Matt & Kim performed their own stunts, thus requiring intensive training and recovery time for what was a two-day battle royale of a video shoot. --> watch "Cameras"

WATCH IT: Finger Eleven "Whatever Doesn't Kill Me" (Alon Isocianu, dir.)

A simple performance video for Finger Eleven, but only if you consider a one-shot video with 360° camera moves, billowing debris, collapsing walls and stampeding fans to be simple. Be sure to also check the making-of where director Alon Isocianu shows off a pre-production animatic that could probably stand alone as an alternate version of the video. --> watch "Whatever Doesn't Kill Me" and a making-of
