Heems "Soup Boys" (Matt Kliegman/STEAMCLAM, dir.)

Heems - "Soup Boys" (Official Music Video)

Is this the drones protest song you've been waiting for? Probably not, since Das Racist alum Heems streams like a wake-and-bake consciousness while director Matt Kliegman/STEAMCLAM keeps flipping the  background back and forth from Indian street scenes to weapon/news porn*.

Shugo Tokumaru - "Katachi" (Official Music Video)

As someone who can barely cut in a straight line — let alone make the countless insanely complex shapes on display here — I can say with authority that this stop-motion video by Kijek/Adamski  for Shugo Tokumaru is very impressive.

Passion Pit "Carried Away (remix)" (Carlos Lopez Estrada, Dir.)

Passion Pit - Carried Away (Tiësto Remix)

Nothing like powdered substance to help you get carried away. Things get progressively weirder — the splitting effect soon jumps to inanimate objects, adding transmogrifying properties along the way — but the party keeps on raging.

The Postal Service Returns: The Videos

You know a band still has resonance when all it takes is putting a basic splash page with the year "2013" on it to send the internet into a tizzy.

Which is ironic, since the whole idea of using the postal service to send audio files back and forth — which is how Ben Gibbard and Jimmy Tamborello collaborated on their 2003 album — has been rendered totally archaic by the Web.
