Description: The obvious influence for both this video and song is Hunter S. Thompson's Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas. Beginning with the same Samuel Johnson quote that serves as the forward to Thompson's book, "Bat Country" recreates Raoul Duke and Dr. Gonzo's hallucinatory trip to Las Vegas, but with the members of Avenged Sevenfold as the stars. The car ride through the desert takes place under a deluge of bats, while the rather sordid activities in Vegas involve lots of beasts disguised as strippers.
