NEW RELEASE: Pharoahe Monch "Body Baby"

Pharoah MonchPharoah Monch Perhaps inspired by the success of Outkast's Andre 3000 — who proved that it was possible to defy musical boundaries and embrace a goofy eccentricity while still being hip-hop — Pharaoahe Monch has finally let his full personality get the fuck up in "Body Baby." This wild ride through retro soul and r&b is matched with a video that incorporates everything from comic book transitions, the yellow Volkswagen van from Little Miss Sunshine, some soda shop sockhopping and even an Elvis impersonation by Mr. Monch. It might all be a touch too out there to achieve a "Hey Ya" level of success, but it's hard to imagine that this longtime underground sensation won't be recognizing for delivering one of the most creative and whimsical hip-hop videos and singles of the year. --> watch "Body Baby" below...
