A polygraph machine sketches out a performance by Taking Back Sunday in this undeniably cool video. After establishing that initial conceit, the lie detector then begins to display a story in which singer Adam Lazzara appears to have been in a deceitful relationship with a female spy who's a Black Widow.
My aim with this concept was to present a more dreamlike sort of logic. Where the rules can twist and bend. Where you have the basic tentpoles of a narrative but some of the connective tissue is purposefully left out. Alot like a lie itself.
