Chris Milk In Conversation Tonight (4/19) @ NYC's Spectacle Exhibit

Museum Of Moving Image will welcome director Chris Milk tonight as the first featured guest in their Director's Studio series, hosted in conjunction with the music video exhibit Spectacle: The Music Video.

Chris Milk is know for both his amazing traditional work for Kanye West, Gnarls Barkley and many others, but also for interactive pieces that take music videos from the old-fashioned linear TV model and transforms them into something interactive and much more suited for the Internet. Great examples are Arcade Fire "The Wilderness Downtown" and his most recent release, Beck "Sound And Vision."

In short, if you want to see what's possible when you forget about the constructs of the TV screen and embrace everything that's now possible, look to Chris Milk.

Catch him in an hour-long conversation tonight, April 19, 7pm @ Museum Of Moving Image (36-01 35 Avenue, Astoria, NY).

Admission is free on a first-come, first-serve basis.
