Much like MTV begat MTV2, the MTV on-campus college network mtvU has spawned mtvU Über. Since mtvU is not a traditional network (it's carried by college cable systems and broadcast in select common spaces on campuses around the country), it's only fitting that mtvU Über also have a unique status by being MTV's first broadband-only channel.
Currently in beta mode, mtvU Über is available for free at the mtvU homepage to anyone with a properly configured Windows PC . You can watch the 24/7 live, streaming feed, or select individual music videos and mtvU shows to watch on-demand.
