Hurts "Somebody To Die For" (Frank Borin, dir.)

Hurts - Somebody To Die For

The California desert has long held a magnetic attraction to artists (and directors) from the land of Royal Babies - so the even more moody and striking Salton Sea was perfect for director Frank Borin and the Manchester group, Hurts. When the band looks like Depeche Mode (a little) and sounds a lot like 1980s power-pop - religious imagery and epic performance in the land where D'Onofrio snorted his nose away seems just about perfect.
