Don Broco "Action" (Benjamin Roberds, dir.)

Public access TV makes a comeback in Benjamin Roberd's video for Don Broco.

This live action/stop-motion hybrid features Don Broco’s lead singer Rob Damiani, and the co-vocalists on the track, depicted as Action Man-type heroes. A fantastically surreal narrative unfolds, with the characters becoming the centre of a frenzied reign of toy-based-terror featuring blood, explosions, and the ever-entertaining reappearance of the cowboy.

StarBenders "Powder" (Benjamin Roberds, dir.)

Eerie music video for Atlanta based band StarBenders. 

“‘Powder’ is a love song,” said the band. “It's about the addictive effect that love itself takes, whether for flesh or chemicals. When you're in love with someone or something the things that are thrown away are the most precious. So we live in this dark place biding our time in order to collect the scraps from our beloved. The video ties into this idea through the portrayal of a cult, with lead singer Kimi Shelter as a member. We'd do anything for our leader, even kill for him. We are not lost.”
