Irrum continues on his relationship with Farao in their new video 'Warriors'.
From Irrum: "Kari told me she thought it was interesting if we represented the themes of the song, a choice, a gamble, giving up on something - with something simple and relatable, we decided on a game. The video puts us in a graphical game scenario, the format has some similarities to that of a classic TV game show, but we left the rules and context surrounding it pretty undefined." London-based Irrum continues on his quest to bring gorgeousness and intrigue to music video with Farao’s “Hunter,” a beautifully-colored piece about being the hunter and the hunted.
Irrum, director: "The band said that they felt like they were ready to shave their heads and go to war with this new record, and they wanted a video that represented that feeling. It felt like the perfect opportunity to reimagine a completely new world, rather than a representation of psychedelia we have seen before. I came up a concept that solely focused on an evolution of color; a giant spinning wheel that diffused colour to birds, botanics, and statues of the band themselves.
