WATCH IT: Kid Cudi "Erase Me" (Jason Goldwatch, dir.)

Kid Cudi has gone rock. Or, about as "rock" as one can be with McLovin on drums and that young dude from Hot Tub Time Machine + Kick-Ass on bass. In other words, this is pure parody, letting Cudi play pretend rock star — kind of Jimi Hendrix meets Britny Fox — while keeping a bit of ironic distance. And to ensure there's some hip-hop bonafides, a blinged-out Kanye West drops a verse in the middle of the song. PS: Video needs a mudshark scene.

WATCH IT: Kelly Rowland "Forever & A Day" (Sarah Chatfield, dir.)

A casual and sunny pop video gets a bit of a twist, or a flick, via an interface that's swiped from your iPhone. Logos get tapped to trigger various edits; pinching makes things zoom in and out, etc, etc. Possibly not the kind of finger manipulation some Kelly Rowland fans have been dreaming about, but even they should admit it's a clever conceit. --> watch "Forever And A Day"

WATCH IT: Glasses Malone f/ Cataracts "I Get Doe" (Kim Stuckswich, dir.)

Part Sonny Wortzik and part Robin Hood and part OJ Simpson in the white Bronco. Presented as a news broadcast, "I Get Doe" has rapper Glasses Malone and cohorts The Cataracs — who sing the hook — race around L.A. throwing money out to the people. He gets cornered at the end and there seems to be no escape, except it turns out that it's all a video shoot, allowing for cameos by the director Kim Stuckwisch and executive producer Jeff Panzer. --> watch "I Get Doe"
