Production executive and rep Lanette Phillips is starting up a new music video division within Jonathan Ker's commercial company, PayDirt and the related company Hydraulx Filmz — where Ker is co-executive producer with Jeremy Barrett. MTV's 24-hour college network, mtvU, has announced the nominees for its 5th annual mtvu Woodie Awards. The Woodies will be doled out at a November 12 ceremony with broadcast slated for November 19 on mtvu, mtvu.com and MTV's HD counterpart, Palladia.

It is with sadness that we relay the news that director/artist Nagi Noda passed away this weekend...
"I wanted to let you know that our dear friend Nagi passed away this Sunday at 4:18 pm. Her passing was peaceful and she was with her friends and family until the end. The funeral was on Tuesday.
In keeping with Japanese tradition, we ask that people to light some incense or a candle for Nagi.
