João Retorta, director: "There’s a quite playful and repetitive feel to the instrumental of ‘Whistle’ that I wanted to replicate with these visuals. I wanted to create a video that kept going back whilst moving forward. A playful depiction of an house party, an element that came attached to the brief, where we see our artists amidst a crowd and our camera moving in a quite mechanical manner, gradually loosening up. and aint that what house parties at all about? that same walk from the couch to the fridge, whilst the night turns into day."
MNEK's "Paradise" video explores beauty, pain, and makes a powerful statement about police brutality.
Ciaran Lyons, director: "I think the themes of MNEK’s track will resonate with a lot of people. What grabbed me was the underlying idea of the different responses elicited by the chaos of the modern world - the desire to escape from the real world into a fantasy paradise vs the possibility of standing strong and separate from all the madness and cruelty, in the hope of preserving something better. It’s a theme reminiscent of those who “carry the fire” in The Road.
The intention with the video was to echo these themes, while maintaining the ambiguity of the lyrics. Escaping, or standing apart can be seen either as an act of strength and heroism, or callousness and cowardice. So we have this beautiful human walking through a fantasy landscape made from symbols of growth and decay, never stopping, never getting involved, but coming out the other end still intact, and still beautiful."
Glass Animals lead singer Dave Bayley straps himself into a human centrifuge for their latest video Agnes directed by Eoin Glaister.
Eoin Glaister, director: “Agnes is, probably, the saddest song Dave will ever write, and so this video required a sensitive approach. In searching for ways to explore the weight of grief I remembered my grandfather used to perform tests on a human centrifuge, a machine used by pilots for g-force training. There’s a scene in Moonraker where an assassin tries to kill Bond in one. Only Roger Moore faked it. Dave didn’t. Essentially it’s an extremely large bit of kit that spins around very quickly. As it does so it subjects its occupants to increased levels of g-force. The faster you go, the heavier you become. On the day Dave described this feeling as like having an elephant sat on his chest. Whilst I doubt the validity of his reference point, I am really grateful that he threw himself into this so wholeheartedly. It was physically demanding and logistically nightmarish and I’m super grateful to all the excellent people that helped make it happen. It was emotional. Appropriately so."

Kevin Calero directs this visually arresting video for Toronto based rapper Cadence Weapon. Kevin strapped the cast members into the same harness that was used on the feature ‘Arrival’ to create these mesmerising slingshot like effects which work perfectly with the track.
