James Partridge delivers a classic film noir look in his promo for G Frsh and Sonny James' ballad Falling High.
Taken from his forthcoming Alfie EP and powered by some fluid, slo-mo 'stuttered waves', G Frsh is taken by a geisha figure showing off some serious moves...
FROM THE DIRECTOR
JAMES PARTRIDGE
"Falling High is a great track that I had an instant connection with. Having worked with G Frsh before meant there was a rapport already there. He brought his ideas and I brought my ideas to the table and we started to morph everything together. We're both super happy with the finished outcome.
"I found influences from lots of different areas but I really liked the idea of putting G Frsh into a mysterious setting, his guide being a kind of weird, dancing ‘neo-Geisha’. From here, I wanted to bring in a film noir look and feel with the lighting.
"Massive thanks to all the crew who worked so hard to make this happen, big shout outs to Art Director Roya Fraser who worked wonders in our location and DP Felix Schmilinsky for the beautiful lighting."
