WATCH IT: Katy Perry "The One That Got Away" (Floria Sigismondi, dir.)

Katy Perry is old, rich and totally unsatisfied. This video for "The One I Love" plays like an old Hollywood flick about doomed lovers, framed out with Perry as an elderly woman who thinks back with remorse about a love affair that wasn't meant to be. Her younger, wilder days provide most of the action, allowing Perry to act as a sort of Joan Jett means Zoey Deschanel free spirit in a hot and heavy and creatively tumultous relationship with actor Diego Luna.

QUICK CLIP: Penguin Prison "Don't F W/ My Money" (Jake Sumner, dir.)

Penguin Prison, aka sweet singing electro artist Chris Glover, proves that the Occupy Wall Street movement is more civilized and more accepting of disco music than the fans of the Chicago Wall Street.  Perhaps the song title "Don't Fuck With My Money" helps, but Glover emerges totally unscathed as he brings some pop escapism to the OWS crowds. --> watch "Don't Fuck With My Money"

WATCH IT: Red Hot Chili Peppers "Monarchy Of Roses" (Marc Klasfeld, dir.)

As you could guess from Anthony Kiedis' recent preference for wearing an OFF cap, the artwork of Raymond Pettibon — as seen on album art for OFF!, Sonic Youth and, most famously, Black Flag — has probably been on his mind. This video for "Monarchy Of Roses" takes a mix of Pettibone's work and some other elements inspired by him and creates an animated world for Red Hot Chili Peppers to perform this latest single off Be With You.

WATCH IT: Fire On Foxx "March Into The Sun" (Edward Housden, dir.)

There's way more fog than sun as Australian band Foxx On Fire make their way across the creepy countryside of West Cork, Ireland. Even creepier: The animals seem to be onto them, especially a pack of cows that I'm pretty sure have revenge in their eyes. Directed by the band's own Edward Housden with not much more than a good eye, a good camera and a good location. --> watch "March Into The Sun"

WATCH IT: Rammstein "Mein Land" (Jonas Akerlund, dir.)

Surf's Up for German metallers Rammstein and director Jonas Akerlund in this tribute to '60s beach party movies like Beach Blanket Bingo (with a little bit of Baywatch thrown in for good meaasure). There's enough not-so-subtle hints that things won't be so squeaky clean, which is exactly the case when night falls and the flames come out, the tops come off and it's Rammstein as you've known and loved them. --> watch "Mein Land" (NSFW unless you only watch the daytime parts)
