A-Trak & Tommy Trash "Tuna Melt" (Ryan Staake, dir.)

A-Trak & Tommy Trash "Tuna Melt" (Official Music Video)

Remember Domino Rally? A-Trak surely does, since his video for his Tommy Trash collaboration "Tuna Melt" is an insane Domino rally taken to Rube Goldergian heights. Domino choreographer Kinetic King worked alongside director Ryan Staake and crew at a St. Paul, MN mansion over 10 days, plotting and then filming this elaborate gambit.

The Neighbourhood "Sweater Weather" (ENDS, dir.)

The Neighbourhood // "Sweater Weather" (Dir. ENDS)

This b/w video for The Neighbourhood has the vibe of a hip fashion spot, showcasing the band on the Santa Monica coast as the sun dips into the sea. Once night comes we get a change in sound and image, as shadowplay and a projection screen come into play, but everything remains effortlessly cool.

Low "Just Make It Stop" (Philip Harder, dir.)

Low - Just Make It Stop [OFFICIAL VIDEO]

Director Philip Harder has a long history with Low — something also explored in his feature film about the band, Low Movie (How to Quit Smoking) — and that intimacy is readily apparent here with the macro shots of them in the recording studio. There's an analog naturalness at play here, even giving way to the stop-motion animated vines that gradually overtakes the occasional digital noise and the band.
