Daft Punk "Lose Yourself To Dance" - official version

If you caught the teaser clip from the VMA telecast, then you basically know all you need to know about the new Daft Punk video — the first official one to be released off Random Access Memories. Our favorite French robots get joined by Pharrell and guitar/disco legend Niles Rogers for a glittery performance to an adoring crowd. There's a feel-good innocense vibe to it all, that depending on how jadded you are will be either underwhelming, or a welcome respite from the NSFW onslaught.

Alluxe "Rytmus" (Nika Offenbac, dir.)

For the track Rytmus, Director Nika Offenbac (Skrillex) and Choreographer/Art Director Yemi A.D. (Kanye West's Runaway video, Dark Fantasy tour) teamed up in Prague to create a film that visually replicates the constant dichotomy in Alluxe's music. Somewhere between hip hop and dance music, her sound has been described as simultaneously primal and refined, but most accurately futuristic.

Lady Antebellum "'Downtown'" (Peter Zavadil, dir.)

Scoring a nod from the CMA for 'Best Video of the Year,' this spunky, comedic music video for Lady Antebellum's hit single, 'Downtown,' directed by Peter Zavadil (Taillight/Nashville) shows the fun side of lead singer Hillary Scott  and her bandmates.

The video for the lead single from the band's album, 'Golden,' also showcases the divserse story-telling skills of Zavadil, who already has two consecutive CMA 'Video of the Year Awards' to his credit (for the whimsical Sara Evans piece “Born To Fly” and  Brad Paisley’s comedic clip, “I’m Gonna Miss Her” (The Fishing Song.)

Mary Alouette "Just You"

Straight off her recent release, The Lark, award-winning, gyspy jazz electronica vocalist Mary Alouette delivers a live video for her single "Just You". The audible treat is filled with dynamic interplay of double bass and gypsy jazz guitar over hypnotic electronic beats and textures. "Just You" draws upon the music of Jose Gonzales' band Junip and the thematic content of David Lynch's TV series, Twin Peaks.
