Ludovico Einaudi "LIFE" (Ben and Joe Dempsey, dir.)

Ben and Joe Dempsey's stunning promo for Ludovico Einaudi's Life from the album In a Time Lapse premiered this week on nowness.com.

The film shot by Steve Annis and written by Robin Warman and Harry Orton is an emotive ode to childhood and all its wonder. The story unravels perfectly against the haunting melody of the building track from classical music's leading star Einaudi of Black Swan, This is England, and Untouchable soundtrack fame.

Moody Good "Musicbx" (Max McCabe, dir.)

Max McCabe at COMPULSORY has directed a video for Moody Good's 'Musicbx' ft. Ft. Eyrn Allen Kane, that details the highs and lows of one man's addiction. But this poor lost soul's drink problem is not the demon booze.

Cloud Boat "Carmine" (Chris Toumazou, dir.)

Director Chris Toumazou focuses on themes of loneliness and isolation using a decidedly eery launderette as the backdrop. The characters are possessed by the voice of Cloud Boat singer Tom Clark, as a way of sourcing attention and affection from one another.

Sia "Elastic Heart" (Sia and Daniel Askill, dir.)

There's no way to replicate the magic that was "Chandelier," but Sia, co-director Daniel Askill and choreographer Ryan Heffington aren't looking to remake anything here. Instead, they're taking what might be the most evocative character in modern music video — Maddie Ziegler as the Dancer has more pathos and heft than most screen characters you'll come across — and building a bigger, yet still mysterious backstory with a metaphorical and/or actual cage match dance with a devastating Shia LaBeouf.
