Jose Gonzalez "Every Age" (Simon Morris, Chris Higham, dir.)

We've seen the Tiny Planet effect in videos before — most prominently in Booka Shade's Crossing Borders," where footage from multiple GoPro cameras mounted on a drone got seamlessly stitched into a globe of sorts — but, we've never left the planet before... until now.

Herb Alpert "Chattanoogo Choo Choo" (Kurt Nishimura, dir.)

A stop-motion tale in which a pair of shoelace find their home —  a pair of sneakers, of course — and then onward to an adventure across the city and into abstract art.

Of course theres a whole lotta backstory here: Herb Alpert is a legend, best know for his Tijuana Brass band and a certain album cover. The song is a cover of a nearly 75-years-old swing standard made famous by the Glenn Miller Orchestra.

Die Antwoord "Ugly Boy" (Ninja, dir.)

I'm starting to get the sense that Die Antwoord can say, "Let's make a video," and have nearly every set-up be great regardless of any concept or narrative. Of course, it doesn't hurt that they're also able to attract Marilyn Manson, burlesque star Dita Von Teese, model Cara Delevingne, Jack Black, Flea and other notables into the madness...
