Tegan, Sara, The Lonely Island and LEGOs in "Everything Is AWESOME!!!"

Has a six year old named Markus Jolly made a LEGO video as awesome as Michel Gondry's "Fell In Love With A Girl" masterpiece? Me thinks not, but that doesn't make this mix of little kid drawings, cute LEGO clips and some The LEGO Movie footage any less awesome — especially thanks to the song by Tegan And Sarah with The Lonely Island.

Tiesto "Red Lights" (Skinny, dir.)

Meet the most beautiful roadside waitress in the world as she gets oh so easily lured into an adventure with her best friend. The roadtripping journey eventually touches down in Las Vegas for a Tiesto show and much more.

It's a good time for all, unless you happen to still be waiting for a coffee refill at the diner.

Metronomy "Love Letters" (Michel Gondry, dir.)

I dare you to not be charmed by this new Metronomy video directed by the legendary Michel Gondry. Sure, it's whimsical and playful, but it also unfurls with an ease that belies the complex arrangement: Metronomy's Joe Mount and band perform at the center of a hexagonal set with the camera darting through various windows to show us the band as the living, breathing, rocking center of various dioramas. It's a mix of 2D and 3D and a collision of stagecraft and videomaking — something Gondry has played with before in Bjork "Bachelorette" — that shines as simply brilliant.

Wanna learn more? Then head to a special Google Hangout session on Wednesday, February 12 @ 5pm GMT, with Gondry and Mount. You'll be able to post questions via the video's YouTube comment section — use the hashtag #loveletters — or watch a live stream of the action from the band's YouTube channel.

Chelsea Wolfe "Feral Love" (Mark Pellington, dir.)

Be warned that there will be blood — and a bit of nudity — in this video for "Feral Love," taken from a forthcoming feature film that director Mark Pellington created with Chelsea Wolfe.

Despite those warnings, what really stands to knock you back is Pellington's foray into memory, fantasy, nightmare and beyond in a mix of filmic images. It's an imagistic style he's been developing since his 1992 Pearl Jam smash "Jeremy," and it's still effective as hell in cutting to the emotional core.

Director Mark Romanek Talks Videos, Movies and Spontaneity w/ LA Times

“I’m bored by the idea of having a concept and then executing it; it seems so paint-by-numbers... I find it more exciting to create something semi-predictable and see what happens.” - Mark Romanek, director

Mark Romanek is featured in a new LA Times piece talking about both his feature film and music video work —  especially the spontaneous nature of his "Picasso Baby" Jay Z short film, and his forthcoming U2 "Invisible" video — and the paradox of being known mainly for his short form smashes, despite considering himself primarily a features director at heart.
