THE CARVELS NYC new video for the song “Scarcity” is off their upcoming EP, “Life is Not a Waiting Room,” (November 2018, Tarbeach Records). 

CARVELS NYC chanteuse Lynn Von Pang has been tearing up stages across the tri-state area since she was a teenager, in bands such as Da Willys and Trick Babys. Decades later, she’s still a force of nature; a full-throated beauty fronting one of the best bands in town.

    It's a family affair! Bev Grant serves up some sound advice to her real-life granddaughter in her latest Cherry Pie Pictures music video for the track, Hang On, Girl, off of Bev's latest LP, It's Personal. It's Personal, is an eclectic multi-genre studio-produced album from an activist singer/songwriter sharing her personal side, with folk, jazz, rock&roll, and blues, spilling a little heartbreak, some good riddance, some sass, and some soul-stirring crying out for justice.

New York Junk "7 Train" (M.N.Kinski/Cherry Pie Pictures, dir.)

NEW YORK JUNK was born in 2009 when singer-guitarist Joe Sztabnik brought together other survivors of the early NYC punk scene who played with him in the 70s and 80s at venues like CBGBs,Max’s Kansas City, and Irving Plaza. Recording in his Queens, NY basement, Sztabnik was joined by bassist Cynthia “B-Girl” Ross and drummer Gary Barnett. Later, they added guitarist Jeff Ward– a veteran of the late 1980s English punk-soul band Gunfire Dance.
