WATCH IT: Interpol "Lights" (Charlie White, dir.)

Hard to figure out what to say about this new Interpol video — I was gonna go with a sorority initiation joke —  so it's much appreciated that it came with a lengthy description from artist/director Charlie White. (see below; as always I think it's best if you watch the video first) If you're an Interpol or music videos, you're probably familiar with his last and only other proper music video "Evil", which was also done for Interpol.

WATCH IT: Ted Leo "The Mighty Sparrow" (Jack Ferry, dir.)

Even if gravity no longer exists, even if we don't know which way is up and even if our balloons keep getting popped, Ted Leo will be there. And here he is, with his longtime backing band The Pharmacists, in a simple, yet clever enough performance video from multi-tasking director Jack Ferry. --> watch "The Mighty Sparrow" (Pitchfork TV premiere)

BOOKED: Interpol - Associates In Science, directors

Associates In Science are directing "C'mere" for Interpol. Two children in the woods come across a witch dressed in fiery clothes. The kids then take the flaming fabric and wrap it around a log cabin (in which Interpol are performing, of course). Weird, but no more more weird than the band's video for "Evil".
