Ivana Bobic's video for Nothing But Thieves casts a spell where we are intrigued to know more about the young man (played by Ceallach Spellman) who heads for the packaged holiday hotel, with something other on his mind other than fun in the sun.
Ewan + Casey, director: "It was exiting to hear some new music from Leftfield, especially as it was so out-there, a driving throb of bleeps and noises, accompanied by Jason from Sleaford Mods ranting about the detritus of modernity. It was pretty clear from the start a degree of subtlety wasn’t what was called for.
Shot on the volcanic island of Lanzarote, Director Markus Lundqvist manages to create a desolate yet beautiful world in this video for Marina and the Diamonds new track ‘I’m a Ruin’.
On working with Marina, Lundqvist said, ‘she was wonderful to work with. A real hard worker. We worked for 32 hours straight and she just got stuck right in, even in freezing cold water.’
The track is taken from her third album ‘Froot’ released on Universal. It’ll see one track released every month until April 6 when the album goes on sale.
