WATCH IT: VersaEmerge "Fixed At Zero" (Spence Nicholson, dir.)

VersaEmerge in a heavily art-directed forest set where director Spence Nicholson takes some visual cues from the "vulture on my shoulder" lyrics, but keeps the focus on singer Sierra Kusterbeck and the band's performance. --> watch "Fixed At Zero"

WATCH IT: Snoop Dogg "Oh Sookie" (Dylan "Pook" Brown, dir.)

I held off on covering this viral promo in hopes that it was only the first in a series of video/songs in which Snoop Dogg tries to aurally (or orally?) seduce various sexy TV characters — Sookie from True Blood followed, perhaps followed by Serena Van Der Wootson, followed by Joy Behar, etc, etc). WATCH IT: DJ Muggs vs Ill Bill "Cult Assassin" (MoreFrames, dir.)

The unambiguously real hip-hop duo DJ Muggs and Ill Bill provide the soundtrack for some old-school Saturday Morning Cartoon action, complete with violence, retribution and evil plots. If only it had the sadism of Tom & Jerry. --> watch "Cult Assassin"
