Nothing is what it seems in this doublecross video for Foster The People except, yes, that is Precious behind the wheel. Gabourey Sidibe stars as the seemingly awful prospective driver, with Foster The People mainman Mark Foster as her nonplussed instructor and his bandmates as a pair of cops who take notice of the escalating mayhem. PS: Keep an eye (two eyes, actually) for a 3D version.--> watch "Don't Stop (Color On The Walls)"
Millepied is well known for his ballet choreograhy, including the award winning film Black Swan. He also founded the LA Dance Project, which will be presenting dance performances in Los Angeles. (And yes, he is also engaged to Natalie Portman and the father of her baby.)
This "back to nature" video doesn't play exactly like a metaphor, but more like a dream with a woman jumping into the water — OK, maybe it's just her unconscious — and swimming with, or at least thinking about the man that was able to keep her steady. --> watch "Your Past Life As A Blast"
Director Ace Norton imagines Foster The People frontman Marc Foster as having too much free time and way too much money (even if neither is likely the case, yet, for the hit L.A. band). So they descend into madness in an opulent mansion, surrounded by women, gold-plated everything and lots of warning signs that will be familiar to anyone familiar with Howard Hughes or Jack Torrance. --> watch "Call It What You Want"
Don't mess with The Piranhas Club, the toughest gang of greaser punk little kids out there. (Alternately, this video can be viewed as why you shouldn't let your kids watch John Waters movies.) --> watch "Piranhas Club"
