  • Drake "Worst Behavior" (Director X and Drake, dir.)
  • Pharrell Williams "Happy" (We Are From L.A., dir.)

Video Director of the Year:

BET Awards 2014 will broadcast live on the channel, Sunday, June 29th at 8pm ET, from the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles, CA.

Michael Jackson x Justin Timberlake "Love Never Felt So Good" (Rich Lee, co-dir.)

In a way, there's likely more Michael Jackson in this video than on this posthumous "contemporized" version of a previously unreleased song. Justin Timberlake easily steps into the main role here, keeping a smile on his face and replicating some iconic moves — needs. more. moonwalk. — on some sets that also shout out various MJ video classics, like the "Bad" turnstiles and the "Beat It" pool hall. For good measure, we also get archived shots of the main man in NTSC action, plus lots of fans to dance and smile along to the groove.

Commander Chris Hadfield and The Copyright Oddities in Space

Space may be infinite, but the Internet is not — especially in regards to copyright.

Astronaut Chris Hadfield's "Space Oddity" performance on the International Space Station is officially offline at YouTube due to the expiration of a one-year licensing deal with songwriter David Bowie and his publishers.

Does this mean that our byzantine copyright laws extend to space? If we calculate time in lightyears isn't the copyright on this song long passed? Do lightyears exist? What are magnets?

Anyway. If you missed it, you missed it... unless you decide to do a Google search during which I'm quite sure you'll find lots of places to still watch it.
