WATCH IT: Kylie Minogue "Timebomb" (Christian Larson, dir.)

The performance never ends for pop legend Kylie Minogue. She saunters off the video set, but she never stops vamping for the cameras, be it a street surveillance cam or a stolen iPhone. Director Christian Larsen keeps up with Minogue's quick pace, even when she hops into a Porsche and then a motorcycle, heading into Chinatown for a rendezvous that's clearly headed toward something explosive. --> watch "Timebomb"

WATCH IT: Katy Perry "Part of Me" (Ben Mor, dir.)

America's sweetheart, Katy Perry, opens her newest video discovering her man is cheating on her (sorry, no Aldous Snow cameo). Like Private Benjamin before her, our heroine decides that signing up for the military is the logical next step. Even though her journey starts with a semi GI Jane-ish haircut, Katy's training never looks as grimy or vicious as what Demi had to put up with.

WATCH IT: Coldplay "Paradise" (Shynola, dir.)

Directing collective Shynola is most known for their animated work on clips by artists like Radiohead and Junior Senior. In this new verion of Coldplay's "Paradise," they keep it live action and grimy. Sure, the little girl star of the clip is impossibly cute, but she is caught up in a narrative that mixes in (un)healthy doses of Don You Go Roun Roun to Re Ro style Brit gangster menace.

WATCH IT: Katy Perry "The One That Got Away" (Floria Sigismondi, dir.)

Katy Perry is old, rich and totally unsatisfied. This video for "The One I Love" plays like an old Hollywood flick about doomed lovers, framed out with Perry as an elderly woman who thinks back with remorse about a love affair that wasn't meant to be. Her younger, wilder days provide most of the action, allowing Perry to act as a sort of Joan Jett means Zoey Deschanel free spirit in a hot and heavy and creatively tumultous relationship with actor Diego Luna.

QUICK CLIP: Pixie Lott "What Do You Take Me For" (Declan Whitbloom, dir.)

And all UK pop star Pixie Lott wants do is dance, dance, dance in this sleek and sexy minimalist video. --> watch "What Do You Take Me For"
